How to Create Glowing in the Dark Christmas Cards

1 Purchase your Christmas cards. Be a little selective this year by buying ones with scenes that have some type of lighting involved. The examples are the star of Bethlehem, the stars on top of Christmas trees, church scenes with the lights on in the windows, night snow scenes, etc.

2 Buy or make glow-in-the-dark paint. You can purchase long glowing glow paint in small 1 oz containers. You can also purchase it online. The green glows the longest, but it comes in 6 colors that glow white or a slight off-white in the daylight, but glow green, aqua, blue and violet when it’s dark. Your kids, family and recipients of your cards will love it!

3 Use a small pinpoint paintbrush to simply paint over the stars, lights, etc on the cards with the glow paint. When people display their cards, the light in the room will charge the glow paint on the cards, and when the lights are turned out, the stars and lights on the card light up. Neat, eh?
