There’s always a day with your pet rock, where you forgot to feed your rock, or you are bored with your rock. Then there are days when there are just too many things to do with your rock! Follow this simple guide to create a simple timetable so you always know what to do with your rock!

1 Grab a piece of paper and a pencil, and roughly scribble down what you and your pet rock like to do. This could be anything, such as: Camping/Nature Walks/Hiking Spa or bath time Crafts Toy time(Leave your rock by it’s own toys) Swimming (Only if your rocks eyes and/or mouth are protected and won’t smudge in water!)

2 Now add the vital things, such as food, naps/bedtime and bath time. Any other things you consider vital to your rock.

3 Determine how long each activity will last. Don’t do ridiculously short/long times E.G: Breakfast: 30 sec. or Bath time: 2 hrs. Pick a reasonable time for each activity.

4 Now determine how long your rock’s day should be. An ideal time is 8:00am-8:00pm, making your rock’s day 12 hours long. Don’t pick a short time such as 11:am-4:pm, making your rock’s day 5 hours long, because remember,you don’t have to play with your rock 24/7! You can bed it down for a nap, or leave it in it’s house to play.

5 This step can take time. Fit in the activities with your chosen time. The more activities you have in one day, the harder it will be. This will take patience, but you will soon come up with your timetable!

6 Write down the timetable. Once you have done this step, you can stick it up wherever you like, and even make a tiny ‘copy’ for your rock’s room!
