How to Convert a Scratch Project to an Exe

Steps 1 Open the Start Menu and type ‘IExpress’. 2 Make sure you have ‘Create new Self Extraction Directive File’ selected. 3 Then make sure ‘Extract files and run an installation command’. 4 For the Package Title, type anything you want as we are not going to see the files unpack. You must type something here though. 5 Select ‘No Prompt’ as this package needs to install into itself. 6 Select ‘Do not display a licence’ as this is not an installer, we are just making it independent 7 You must do the following exactly as written. Click ‘Add’.Go to (C:) Drive and Select Program Files.Open ‘Program Files’ and find the Scratch folder.And select the following in order (You may come out of this screen after selecting a file, if this occurs go back into the Scratch folder and continue.1. UnicodePlugin2. ScratchPlugin3. Scratch.image4. Mpeg3Plugin5. Scratch.exeNow add your game file. 8 In the box ‘Install Program’, type  Scratch.exe “scratch.image” presentation “TYPE EXACTLY YOUR GAME NAME HERE.sb”. You must have everything above including quotation marks, capitals and .sbE.GScratch.exe “scratch.image” presentation “SPACE INVADERS.sb”. 9 Make sure ‘Hidden’ is selected. 10 Make sure ‘No Message’ is selected. 11 Under options have both boxes ticked. If a pop-up opens, select ‘Yes’.Then click ‘Browse’Select where you want to save it. Make sure you have the name for your file in the ‘File Name’ box. 12 Select ‘No Restart’ 13 Make sure ‘Don’t Save’ selected. 14 Click Next and you are finished. 15 Click Finish. You have successfully exported a Scratch Project. Go to the destination where you saved your project.
